About This Webinar

Menopause care is moving quickly. New NICE recommendations, a new non-hormonal treatment option and a sharper focus on the symptoms that get missed all change what good primary care looks like in 2026. This practical, case-based session covers the full symptom picture and where it gets misattributed, HRT initiation and monitoring, and the complex consultation after cancer. You will leave with clear, usable steps for the next working day.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognise the full menopausal symptom spectrum, including cognitive, sleep, musculoskeletal and digestive symptoms that are commonly misattributed to depression, ageing or IBS
  • Apply a structured approach to HRT initiation, review and troubleshooting, including for women who cannot take it or choose not to
  • Identify genitourinary syndrome of menopause and describe the current evidence on vaginal oestrogen safety, including after breast and gynaecological cancer
  • Appraise the evidence for non-hormonal and lifestyle approaches within a holistic assessment
  • Determine when complex menopause can be managed in primary care and when referral is appropriate
